Fees and Expenses

I may charge a fee for the financial advice I provide if you cancel a life or health insurance policy within two years of inception.

The fee charged for the financial advice provided to you will be calculated on the following basis: depending upon the length of time the policy is in force, 0-6 months, $2,400; 7-12 months $1,800; 13-18 months $1,200; 19-24 months $600 (all amounts including GST). This fee will be payable by you by the 20th of the month after your policy is cancelled.

I am bound by the duties of the Financial Markets Conduct Act to:

  • Meet the standards of competence, knowledge and skill set out in the Code of Conduct;
  • Give priority to the clients’ interest and Exercise care, diligence and skill;
  • Meet the standards of ethical behaviour, conduct, and client care set out in the Code of Conduct.

I was born in Rotorua and grew up here then travelled around NZ and overseas.  When I returned to New Zealand, I become a builder with my Dad and to raise a family and both taught me what hard work really was!

I’ve also owned a number of small businesses including building, retail and property investments and joined the financial services industry in 2002.  My business has enabled me to help my clients protect their families and businesses as well as get ahead financially.  When I’m not working I spend time with my family, playing golf, snooker and boating on lake Tarawera.

I help people protect their families and businesses using some of the best insurance products in the market.  My financial services business is based in Rotorua and I have helped many of my clients grow their assets and finance their small businesses.  While most other bring you bills in times of a personal health crisis, I bring you money when you need it most.  I am also a member of the ISO for your protection.

I also have access to a wide range of insurers and lenders and offer you choices to suit your particular needs.  At my Rotorua office, I use a state of the art software platform which includes independent research of New Zealand life and medical insurance companies as well as bank insurance products.  I provide written advice to my clients based on their needs and budget as well as my knowledge, training and experience while using independent research as the  foundation of my advice and recommendations.

Mortgage Services

I have access to a wide range of lenders which include mainstream banks and non-bank lenders.  My mortgage service is free (unless otherwise stated and agreed prior) to you and I can make the whole process simple and easy.  I can meet with you at a time and place which is convenient for you and talk about what you want and what your plans are.  Only after getting a good understanding of what you want can I then find the right lender and secure the home loan for you.
